The Public Affairs Department is seeking a college intern in their Richmond, Va. location. This internship is within the Corporate Communications unit, which is responsible for media relations, internal and external crisis communications and employee communications. Corporate Communications also manages the Fifth District’s public website and provides consulting and editorial support to Bank executives and departments. This internship is designed to give the intern an opportunity to assist multimedia staff in day to day operations and gain fundamental knowledge of the Bank’s intranet/internet. The internship is structured to refine a diverse set of skills including analytical thinking, effective interviewing, strong communication (written and oral), team interaction, and business protocol.
This is a part time position (no benefits) that will begin in during the spring semester and may end in early summer. The work schedule, including office and/or event hours, for the position will average 12 - 20 hours per week; however, flexibility to alter work schedule as needed, is required.
