A strong board + a strong chapter = a strong community
AIGA Richmond will be celebrating 18 meaningful years of moving the design profession forward as a collective voice in the community.
AIGA Richmond is looking for members to fill available positions on our Board of Directors.
This isn’t the typical twiddle your thumbs, yawn through a few bored meetings kind of group, though. We have a lot of fun but get a lot of work done too. So we are looking for members who want to get more involved in the creative community.
As a board member, you’ll get some conversational time with some of the most dynamic designers today when you assist with events; you’ll influence the direction of the organization by providing input on key decisions and policies; you’ll be a resource for brainstorming ideas for impactful branding, marketing and public relations efforts. You’ll be able to exercise existing skills and build new ones.
AIGA Richmond is an all-volunteer organization and we need your help to continue building our role in the community. Although each board position has specific tasks, we work as a team – so you never have to fly solo. Experience is not necessary, but the willingness to learn and grow is paramount. Candidates must, however, be current members of AIGA and commit to a two-year term.
If you’re ready to commit to being a major player in the AIGA Richmond community, contact Kim Spencer today at president@richmond.aiga.org.
Average time commitment per month includes monthly board meetings.
Currently all board positions are full.
