Volunteer Questionnaire

You want to help, but you aren’t quite sure where you want to pitch in?

Event Planner/Chair

Responsibilities: Coordinating logistics (event location, catering, travel, etc.), and publicity materials (mailings, emails, etc.) losely working with our partners in all aspects of planning the event. Estimated time commitment: 10-25 hours per event.

Become the Big Kahuna – you know you wanna.

 

Mailings Assistant

Responsibilities: Assist in folding, stuffing, stamping, labeling and distributing invitations to our events while enjoying the company of fellow designers. Estimated time commitment: 1-4 hours per event.

Come on, – no doubt this is fun.

 

Portfolio Reviewer

Responsibilities: Providing feedback, advice and tips for the annual AIGA Richmond Student Portfolio Day event In this role, you will serve as a mentor for future designers by offering constructive criticism based on your experiences in the professional world of graphic design. Estimated time commitment: 2-4 hours per event.

Designer

Responsibilities: Helping with design of AIGA Richmond invitations and mailings to promote our upcoming programs All designs are reviewed and approved by our Board and the event speaker may provide design direction. The types of materials may include posters, postcards, invitations and brochures. Estimated time commitment: how fast do you work?

Design makes the world go ’round.

 

Event Helper

Responsibilities: Greeting guests and assisting with set up or tear down for an event. Estimated time commitment: 1-3 hours per event.
